Hello thought I would introduce myself as I am a new Cobalt owner. I recently picked up a 2002 262BR with a Volvo 8.1Gi. It currently only has 294hrs on it but I plan to make that number go up rather quickly this year. I was able to test her out last weekend on lake of the ozarks! I will be keeping it down on Table Rock Lake and cannot wait to get it down there in the spring!
Hey tgrace98,
Welcome from Massachusetts!
I loved that Cobalt model so much I bought one too. You won't be disappointed. It's a sexy boat!
Seems like the 260 model is really getting popular on this site. That's great!

I found it right there at the harbor
I didnt realize this and im fact seems i missed most of the posts on this thread somehow. What salesman did you work with?
Btw nice interior pics tgrace. Cant wait to race you this summer
Seems like lots of folks on here either boat permanently or trailer to TR. Maybe we should start a TR thread? There are lots of cobalts on TR....that and dedicated tow/wakesurf boats.

We talking drag race or endurance race? I’m thinking a race to state park marina and back to the harbor would be fun . You are going to need more than that Merc 320 however. I believe I saw your boat yesterday. Does it have a wake tower and a foam pad rolled up on the side?
Also they are starting on the other new dock. They had the floats all over the parking area yesterday. Been coming down a lot the past 6 or so weeks to throw a fresh coat of paint up in the condo.
TR Bobby was my huckleberry. He's a super good guy and great to deal with, and I'd highly recommend him.
When I called over to schedule an appointment he said the boat had just come in and there was several people lined up to see it, but if I got there early he'd show it to me first. I left my house at 3:30 am to make the drive and Bobby met me at 8 before the place opened. We took it for a little ride and made the deal. The Harbor is a great place to buy a boat from. I also met Trey and Robert, the service manager, and one of the owners (don't remember his name). All good people.
TR do you or tgrace or F2F know if The Harbor has day slips available, or if there is anyplace close around that does? I need to call over and ask. Or maybe a place to rent for a few days that may come with a slip? We're thinking of trailering over this summer like on a Tuesday and staying through Sunday. I'd like to meet you guys and hang out on Table Rock. Explore a little and maybe see the Liquid Lounge!

Yep thats me....for now....by summer ill have a 430hp R7
Yea trey the sales manager mentioned that to me at the boat show. Gonna block our view☹ but i knew that going in. Besides i guess its added wake protection. Not that its a huge deal down there. But of all the coves it is one of the busiest.

YT i dont think the harbor does. Maybe because you bought from them theyd make an exception. Check Indian point marina. They are more of a public marina. Also if you stay at the Rocks (also indian point but on other side of penninsula) they do.
Yea let us know. Im sure tgrace will be there since he works from home (yes still jelly). We get down often enough though. The liquid lounge! Sounds like a go to destination!

YT Indian point marina has nightly rentals. Or the harbor’s sister marina State Park Marina has nightly’s as well. I bet if you hit up the harbor they can set you up at State Park for the week. You will for sure have to let us know so we can have a meet up!
TR are you going to the harbor open house on March 3rd? It’s my birthday that weekend so think me and the wife are going to venture down for it. Plus I need to get on Phil to get my lift in.

tgrace98,
Sharp looking boat! I'm a TR laker as well, great place.
Where you located?
We have a place in Shell Knob near the bridge. Been visiting TRL for years and am all for cruising the lake, make it down to Big Cedar for lunch a few times during summer.

Havent been that far west yet but ive heard its a great part of the lake. Little quieter than the dam side. So weve farted around with the lunch thing at big cedar. How does that work? Dont they pick you up in a golf cart or something? The place is overall amazing. Restaurant by the practice range is top notch for a casual environment.
