What a special boat you have coming. It will be great.
I think it's funny Driller always points this out. It just goes to show you about a Texan. I mean, really? How does he know John is sane?

Alright Matt are you done now :-)

did not know you could do "trips" as posted earlier) ;) I assume you meant BB Volvo's are a rare package and not something that has been problematic for owners

Yes BB is a rare option :-)

Issues with Volvo. None on my boats. Love them.
Love Volvos and yes its a rare twin big block option to have Volvo for the 282 to boot..

OK Ok one more item.. since you insist..I'm a life long Merc Guy and probably always will be..

But..... Anyone with a Volvo ever notice by the time they pull their boat out of the water and go to wipe the drives off.. they just seem magically clean?? and dry???

 Ill spend more time wiping black Bravos down then the whole boat.

I love those silver painted Volvo DP Drives.. They require little cleaning as that silver hides everything. Why Merc doesnt offer that color I dont know.. The IMCO Scx..come in Silver.. The ILMOR Indy Drives.. come in silver.

As I get older I appreciate self cleaning items on my boat

Dear all,

I am not holding out but will post pics as soon as I have some where it is not in a dark storage room. I want all to see the before and the after with the Samson tower. (Thanks for the post saying it looks good on the 246!) Little piece of mind there:) I already really like this group but am always concerned about any group that will have me:))

Pictures soon.

John may not be sane, but he is the administrator. Always best to stay on his good side.

In addition, i only "occasionally" point this out, not "always". It's just good to remind you guys / gal every once in a while.

Then when I share my "Texan sage advice" it carries a little more weight.

Texan Sage advice - We will be boating in less than a month. Move to Texas or to Arizona with Thunder.

Only joking - about moving, not about when we will be boating.

Only place I'm envious of for weather is Florida...but they have hurricanes. I know I'm a warm weather snob...going to skip boating this weekend because it's too cold (below 80).
