Chat window

The mChat chat window is now available to all users by default, by clicking on the "mChat" word/logo in the menu bar directly under the top image. To alter whether a preview of the mChat window shows up on the main index page, click your user name on the right side of the menu bar at the top, and select "User Control Panel". Once the control panel is up, select the mChat tab, and select whether you want the preview window to display on the index page, and whether you want it to display above or below the forum index.

OK, I've updated the chat window code and set it to show about three lines by default instead of two.

PLEASE NOTE - If you click the "mchat" button in the top left corner of the window you'll get a little bigger chat window or the "archive" button below for a page with quite a bit more chat window, but I don't want to take up the whole screen by default on the home page.

Just curious John, why is it McChat? Shouldn't it be Cchat?

One guy writes the chat feature as an add-on for the PHPBB forum software we use as a hobby, and he named it MChat. I don't really want to start customizing his software, as I'd have to re-do that every time there's an upgrade (which is not infrequent).
