He jumped up, turned around and yelled "Who put that damn tree there?"

 Awesome!

In the military we would say "have that tree removed".

This is so awesome. I see all these young kids killing it on the slopes and i'm so jealous that they got to learn to ski/ride as a kid...makes it so much easier. LOCE his helmet...I need a pink spike mohawk too!
Ty. Once he got going I got all new gear. I was so pumped. I started at 3 and have probably gone 10 times in 5 years. We’ve been on training hills and then I took him to the mountain. He was a mess all morning. Took a lunch break. He pounded a red Gatorade. It was like he flipped a switch. Pizza. French frie. Stop. I’ll upload to YouTube so you can see vids as it makes my heart burst I’m so proud. He’s absolutely fearless at 5. I’m bombing hills to keep up with him telling him to slow down. He ate it so badly the other day... lost his skis. I shot over to him. He says “dad, total yard sale. Can you get my stuff?”

I had to sit down I was laughing so hard. He’s 5!
He's got the ski lingo down! When you send it, a yard sale is bound to happen! I try not to hurt myself but I like going fast.... I have to remind myself to slow down and work on form from time to time. He's a cool little ripper!
Thank you. He sends it alright.

Man it's almost surreal... Liquid and I were talking about this the other day. The wild variances in the weather around the country is amazing. It was in tbe mid 70's here Saturday with no breeze at all and I worked outside in shorts. Our trees are blooming and grass is greening. In Dallas where I work every week the rye grass needs to be mowed. Where Driller lives there are probably flowers out, leaves on the trees and full springtime raging.

And you guys are freakin ice skating, skiing and driving out on frozen lakes (and falling through)
What are the trees you take the Spring cue from YT?

They're called blackjack trees and I think the best "last freeze" barometer there is, at least for our area. They are short, stubby, and the lower branches die off and bend down like bones. They're a nuisance actually, because the wood is as hard as a brickbat and the limbs are hard to deal with when you trim them.

Mesquite trees in my part of the country when you can find them. They're never wrong.

Mountain Laurels are blooming to beat the band here.

How the spring weather up there Nauti? We're heading to Telluride Tuesday. I've never skied this late in the season before.

This is my first time spring skiing... Top of the mountain is great... But coming down in then afternoon is all slush.

But I have to say I love the warm Temps... No heavy layers and can enjoy sitting outside drinking a beer. Oh and I've got good goggle tan going on after today!

Snow is still in the forecast to keep the conditions good!
