BBP make sure you check the range on those things. A lot of add-on TPMS systems for cars don't have the range to work on a trailer with the receiver inside the tow vehicle. The system I put on is designed for cars, and kinda works ok for the trailer, although I think I'm right on the edge of the range because the pressure and temps only update once every 5-10 minutes. That's fine for slow leaks but it may not help (and may give false sense of security) for blowouts or larger leaks.

Here's the one I got for reference:

I saw those too. It's going to take some research. Thanks for the heads up.

If you find something good let me know, I may be up for replacing the ones I have with something that updates quicker.

It might be a expensive tire pressure guage but I would use it just for that In the worse case scenario.

They don't and they won't. I'm not changing the suburban rims from the factory ones.

I think they will look good. What size are they? What size tires are going on them? Is it gunmetal gray or black?

Oh yea I better check that color now that you say that. I was thinking black. If it's flat or Gray then it's out. Thanks t555500000 :-)

I installed a TPMS system about a year ago for my motorhome and towed Jeep. The brand is EEZRV (eezrvproducts.com). The kit I got came with 10 sensors (6 MH, 4 Jeep). You set the temp & psi parameters for each tire then the unit cycles through each tire and beeps if one is out of range. It seems to work very well. I don't think it would help much if you had a sudden blowout but a slow leak would show up pretty good. I had thought it would be a great system to have for tow vehicles & boat trailers. Justifying the cost is always tough but when you consider the safety and damage a faulty tire can cause, it makes sense.

B550 is exactly right about the range. This company has a booster it will include for longer Motorhomes or semi trucks. I didn't need that as my MH is 33' & Jeep is short. If any questions, feel free to ask.

I like those wheels BB. The center silver portion doesn't go into the lip of the outer edge so it will look very modern. Cap apears to cover the buddy set up. Nice!
