Re: trailer tire pressure
I'll be interested to see how the beads work out. I've read lots of good stuff about them, just never been brave enough to try. Are you going to mount/dismount yourself then?

I don't get my hands dirty. I have guys that do that for me.lolthunder550 wrote: Mon Mar 19, 2018 9:24 pm I'll be interested to see how the beads work out. I've read lots of good stuff about them, just never been brave enough to try. Are you going to mount/dismount yourself then?
The bad thing is I'll never really notice how the beads are doing on the trailer. I could not really feel the tires on the trailer that are out of balance. Most trailer tires are not even balanced. Who can feel it?
All I know is it can't hurt. They worked in the last truck tires I used them on.

What's the purpose of the beads if you're having someone mount for you? Don't they mount and balance for the same price as just mounting?

I don't want the weights on the rims. They corrode them. I'll have my guys mount them it's free. The beads will take place of the weights on the rims. Plus wheels go out of balance over time. With beads they never go out of balance.that's the theory anyways.thunder550 wrote: Mon Mar 19, 2018 9:41 pm What's the purpose of the beads if you're having someone mount for you? Yes I could use tape weights. They can fall off also. I just want to try beads. I just bought the rim and tire package from the tire rack and one rim I noticed yesterday didn't have any weights. Not happy.
