Good one A7!!
Yes welcome for California.
It will be nice to have you share from a different perspective as you get to enjoy both ends of the Boating passion. Consider us your technical assistance network if needed, as we have the whole spectrum of Cobalt users here !! We are glad you came aboard!!

I just watched a cobalt R5 surf. View is from a drone. I only bring it up because it was on lake george and the water clarity from the prop looks amazing.

Howdy from Kansas / Table Rock Lake. Great to have a dealer on the site. It will be interesting here on Table Rock between the Cobalt dealer and the Malibu dealer. It has been rumored that both want to be able to sell both brands? One question is the Marker One line of boats going to be phased out?
Looks like Cobalt is expanding their outboard line of offerings? Thanks

A lot of these places are still standing tall, including A&W! It burnt down last summer but they rebuilt. Locals love that place, too.Tuscany wrote: Mon Apr 16, 2018 12:43 pm Welcome.
We’re at the other end of the State in western NY. John Nelan owns our dealership.
My mom and dad used to take us on vacation to Lake George for years. King Phillips on Bloody Pond I believe.
Story Town? A&W root beer barrel store? Gas Light Village?
We are going waaay back here. Like 1960’s.
Anyway, we hope to drag our boat up there some day soon for a few days.
I'm a die hard Bills and Sabres fan, by the way, even though I'm on the Eastern half of the State.

I just visited your dealership down there at Table Rock Lake. Beautiful facilities, and great people! You're in good hands down there.gdane wrote: Tue Apr 17, 2018 7:09 am Howdy from Kansas / Table Rock Lake. Great to have a dealer on the site. The Marker One product line has been discontinued. The boats took off here in Lake George, but for whatever reason, they weren't as successful around the rest of the country, so they decided to discontinue.
As you know, Cobalt has introduced 3 new outboard models in the last 2 years, and with the popularity of outboard motors seemingly through the roof, I suspect this trend of offering both I/O and OB models to continue.

Not trying to highjack your thread, but just curious what the appeal is with an OB model Cobalt?? Not saying its a bad thing or good thing but I personally don't get it. Just curious what everyone's take is on the subject.BoatsByGeorge wrote: Tue Apr 17, 2018 3:24 pmI just visited your dealership down there at Table Rock Lake. Beautiful facilities, and great people! Im not a fan but if you boat in salt i guess it makes sense. Freshwater makes almost no sense IMO....sorry to any members who may have them. I'm sure you have your reasons. For me having that big ass motor on your platform ruins its utility.

Tgrace,
Yep I've met the Cox boys. Tried to purchase a boat from them but they didn't want to sharpen up their pencil. They have so much revenue from the Harbor and State Park Marinas I guess they don't have to???? Looking forward to meeting you and TB this summer.
