Fishing???

Post by Southernboatman »

Ok I know this is no fishing boat but... I want to gulf fish a little, mainly on reefs. I was thinking of adding a flush mount rod holder on each side at stern and using a 3-rod holder in each. Appreciate any thoughts or ideas and comments on this.

Haha, the closest fish get to my boat might be a tuna sandwich or a lobster and cheese dip...

I'm hoping for some of that too. In the mean time, while sitting on the swim platform drinking beer I may as well drop a line to the bottom to see what happens. Then straight into a cooler if anything were to hook itself.

I fish A LOT (or I used to before the kids). I don't fish on the Cobalt. Fish bleed.

I fish on an old boston whaler that doesn't mind getting fish blood all over it.

I'll carry rods in my boat to a location but mixing my two passions (fishing & my boat) just don't jive right now.

That being said I like the idea.
