new from Idaho

Post by Dale & Rose J »

Just wanted a place to share my pleasure of cobalts. after a year of work me and my wife are ready to try and enjoy our 1972 16ft bowrunner. It is #191 of 209 ever built in the first you of production. It also came with the 165 merc package and when we took it out on lake cda in Idaho we topped out at 40mph. Didn't think that was to bad for a 45 year old boat.
doesn't look like I can attach picks sorry. Will try later

I was using the attach button at the bottom but it refused my jpeg picks. Sent a support message to see if they might be able to help

thanks, I know its not the monster that most of the other cobalt owners are sporting these days but I grew up on seventies cobalt's and it's almost impossible to find this boat anywhere. It proves that cobalt if taken care of can have a long life, and to be honest this boat just excites me to no end. We still have things to work on but when we had it out a few weeks ago we had lake Coeur d'Alene in north Idaho all to ourselves and it was pure glass. It was a pure joy, and we are looking forward to a wonderful summer like all the rest of you cobalt fans. Love the brand.
Thanks again

Thanks Liquid we couldn't agree more with you. There's just nothing like a well built boat and Cobalt from the start has been one of the all time best.
and even the old vintage Cobalt's are just pure classy.
