Just joined the Cobalt owners group with my 2018 CS22! Downsizing from a Mastercraft X-Star and I must admit the Volvo DP has been great and really enjoying the fuel economic of the 280 HP V6.

It is black with a blue stripe along the swim platform. The brown mat is a standard Cobalt option. I have a friend with a Cobalt 220 with the Volvo V-8 260 HP DP and the V6-280 is actually a little quicker out of the hole at a little faster top end. The sealed water system with the easy flush is great for winterizing. With the Bimini hanging out in the wind like a drag chute it will still hit 51 MPH top end. The V6 will spin up to 5600 RPM so it is a little louder and the higher RPM's it a little unusual from my V8 past. I know exactly what you mean about the X-Star and cruisers, a 3 foot wave coming down the inside of your boat sure upsets a lot of folks when all their cell phones gets soaked!!!

I'm sorry, did I understand correctly that people actually buy a boat in some other color then black? Their mom must not have taught them right!!!
