I really like the yellow, but I freakin LOVe that dock in the background. Is that your dock? You dont see many with stone supports. That's a lot of clams floating there.
On our lake you could never build like that because the lake levels fluctuate so much and the docks take a beating. It's like a toilet bowl, either flushing or overflowing during the rainy season. We deal with it by using stand-offs on the docks along with sea anchors.
Also, how do you like that 6.2 motor?

It's my bosses lakehouse on LBJ. It's a constant level lake. It's not a floating dock; I guess it would be a boathouse. It's an awesome place.Ytmsn wrote: Wed May 23, 2018 8:44 am I really like the yellow, but I freakin LOVe that dock in the background. Is that your dock? You dont see many with stone supports. Love the motor. Great out of the hole, gets up to the mid-50's, & pulls a three person tube with a full boat no problem.

I've been wanting to try Canyon for some time, my parents even have a lot down near it (can't build on it), but sadly hit the age where they won't be building, but maybe I will one day.
Sounds like a cool trip to Amistad. I have a good friend in Del RIo that sends me some incredible pictures from his boat trips.

That Baja looks sharp.
It does look like the same area. That waterfall was spring fed. There was a 8-10 foot "pool" where the water was coming out of the rocks that you could sit and have a cold one in. If you didn't mind sitting in cold water (cold for us Texans, anyway)

Turtle is in for a rough week. Same with the fish. I'm going out of town and the floors are being redone. Can't get upstairs. Unintentional Turtle Fast.

Nice boat! Yellow looks really good! I really like how yours sits relatively low on the trailer, between the fenders. Mine is a few inches above the fenders.
