Digging this one up since I'm catching up on old posts. I found Club Cobalt first, and the guys over there (Nola included) were super helpful during my purchase process. Started looking elsewhere due to lack of activity over there, and found Cobalt Chat.

I'm in agreement with nola, the software over there is way better than here. Membership here is amazing though. Best of both worlds would be that software with this member base. If anyone is listening

I've seen forums move from one software to another before, likely moving existing member data from one set of tables in a database to a different set of tables in a different database. I'm sure that I am grossly oversimplifying, but that would be the general idea. Unless it's not.

What I find interesting....and a bit strange, is no comments from John on this. I know he has a new baby but.... The last word on a software update was it was supposed to be in the Spring. Spring is almost over.

Rob Anonen is the Club Cobalt Forum owner and started the site. A short while later he got a chance to buy a new business and it has taken very much of his time. It's the main reason he asked me and one other member to take on Administrator roles.

A month or so ago I mentioned to Rob the idea of finding a way to merge the 2 forums. He was not opposed to the idea, looked up the particulars of this site and discovered John only lives a few miles from him. He talked about reaching out to John. I don't know if that has happened but since Rob has not been heard from on his own forum since May 6th I would venture that he has not.

As I said a few posts ago. I'm not going to worry about it any more. I can play the cards I've got or fold. I'm too busy trying to finish my boat and whatever happens, or doesn't, happens.

Maybe he's watching viking/packer games from the past. He can't get away from the tv.
