It's like a speaker ring for a cupholder. So yes the light is on the outside.

Yes. I tried them with my speaker rings. So they'll change colors, pulse, stone or react to music. I'll try to get better picture sometime this week.

Well I finally got around to switching all my interior lights over to led. Here’s a couple pics. I need more

Did you just change the bulbs ? Are they just blue or color changing ?

I just swapped out the original halogen bulbs with blue led’s They are from super bright led’s.
