Late posting here but I love the way the 220 handles. It feels “sportscar like”, particularly in turns. Part of that may be the duo props biting the water. Have not had any rough water yet but the hull seems very solid.

A '03 220 popped up today. Looks very clean. Not really sure how to attach pics otherwise I would. The CL ad didnt have any pictures.

It has the 6.2L, 320hp, Bimini, Captains Call, Bada$$ stereo, etc. Also comes with a trailer. Anyone know what the MX means on this motor? Its the 6.2L Merc MX, B3

Guy has it listed for 29k. Seems high to me. It also has 413 hours, which feels high to me. Maybe I am crazy, but I am thinking resale. Say I put 200 hours on it, a boat with 600 hours typically goes for a lot less on the market as the "perception" is high hours.

Market tells me 25-26.

Offer less and see what they say. You never know. It's a good 27k boat. Mx means it's the motor cross version. Attach the listing web address. What city? If it's Red offer a little less. Black it's worth 30k. Then it's priced right.
Don't worry about hours. A well maintained high hour boat is better than a low hour non used non maint boat. Ask AJ how his low hour boat has been. Sorry aj just making a point.

28 hours a year.. it's a Baby in hours.

You need to consider the life expectancy of a non modified well cared for merc or Volvo can exceed 2000 hours .

Sure it's difficult to sell the boat with 2000 hours but that would be in 45 years from now. If you still had her.

Enjoy your search and once you find one that makes you go wow. Then you'll spend a couple hundred on the check out to see the health

If it's unhealthy then walk to the next one.
