That did hold up fairly well, chachie. Looks good.
There’s something special about that old school ribbed vinyl look in boats that is appealing to me. Maybe it’s the Donzi Classic series interiors that I cut my teeth on. In any event, keep up the great work and keep those pics coming. Very enjoyable thread.

I thought long and hard about whether or not to keep the tuck'n'roll look or do something else. My original plan was to keep it and then I started updating instruments and the panel and then changed all the cabinets surfaces away from the dated wood-look formica and went to real wood I decided I needed updated interior to go with all of the other updates so I bit the bullet and designed and made the change.
If my boat had still been the original hull color I might have done this as a full restoration rather than a restoration/modification/update. I'm happy with how mine is coming out.
Well the first full day on the river with this old beauty. She did perfect minus couple small issues. Needs a new stereo system and fuel sending unit. LOVE this boat! Not bad for pulling her out of the grips of hell for 10 years. Might need some thru hull exhaust also. download/file.php?mode=view&id=10234

I have thru-hull exhaust on my boat and it's kinda cool when I'm putting around the river at idle but when running on plane the noise gets annoying really fast.
The boat looks good Jason. I'm glad all is working well. And you are discovering the ride of the CM23s. They really are amazing. Mine will be out of the shop what I return from vacation 8/3.

Sounds a little low to me. Going up in prop pitch won't help you.
What engine? 5.7? At least should be 4200 I would may actually need to go down in pitch or a smaller diameter one. What kind and brand is on it now? Alum or stainless?

Agree. Your already running too much prop. I could be wrong but I dont remember a wot rpm less than 4200 rpm.
