Re: Trading boats
Yea, products wise, I am a HUGE fan of Shine Supply.
A little pricey, but have had a ton of success with their stuff. Their customer service is without a doubt the best.
I have product coming in Saturday, so I hope to get started on Sunday. I will post some pics of before and after....

Re: Trading boats
Not that I have any say in the matter, but if I had my pick the next boat would be a shale hull side /w a navy edge stripe. For now I will hope that our red boat and white trailer combo continues to be problem free, that would be a great bday present.AsLan7 wrote: Wed Jun 27, 2018 9:07 pmHey, Happy (belated) Birthday Jeff!NautiGirl wrote: Wed Jun 27, 2018 12:42 pm My birthday was yesterday - I did not spend it sitting in a sewer, but perhaps I am missing out? If sitting in a sewer is good enough for BBP then it is good enough for me.
Do I need to wait the full 364 days until my next birthday to sit in a sewer or can one do it at anytime and still get the full benefit?

Re: Trading boats
Looking good - What are you using on it? We didnt have much if any oxidation but Meguiars cleaning wax seemed to work really really well on the red.

Re: Trading boats
I've been using Shine Supply Product and Meguiars.
It was hard for me to get before pictures because I didn't have any sunlight. The white was by far worse than the red. But lots of scratches in the red. I've pulled out about 85% of the scratches.
The interior is amazing. 9/10 I would say. I will get some pictures up of that later.
Got to have it clean by tomorrow!!

Re: Trading boats
No way. You got lucky on that. I would have thought the poles would be a unicorn. I guess there's money in them with people dropping them in the water.tsouthard91 wrote: Tue Jul 03, 2018 12:42 pmHaha, don't remember ordering the cup holders, but I hope some are headed my way now!Big Block Power wrote: Tue Jul 03, 2018 12:34 pmDid your stainless steel cup holders come in yet with leds?tsouthard91 wrote: Tue Jul 03, 2018 12:26 pm I've been using Shine Supply Product and Meguiars.

Re: Trading boats
Yea, got lucky I guess.
Question: the ride in the 220 is drastically different than my last '99 232. I find myself and passengers catching spray when riding. We hardly ever got wet in our 232.
Is their a certain way I need to have the trim is fairly rough water? The 232 seemed to ride heavy on the rear end of the boat, where the 220 cuts through more "linearly" if thats even a word.
Curious about everyone else's experience.

Re: Trading boats
Its always a crap shoot brother..
Our boat deflects 100% of the average spray. We never feel a drop. Rough water, wind..never a drop.
Having said that, there have been two separate instances where all the wrong things seem to converge together on us. Steering angle, speed, large boat wake combined with the right throttle together has gotten us soaked to the skin.

I rode a huge wake last week that I throttled into, then backed off..that dipped the nose and we caught it all. the bow riders were soaked to their underwear. I saw a wave come over the windshield like I've never seen before. The rear passengers also caught some. It was freaking hilarious..

Oh my god YT, you can’t imagine it. It was a freaking wall of water.
Freaking crazy. My son might as well have jumped overboard. Wendy was dripping like she just turned off the shower.
After my son got over the cold shock of it all, it was a pretty good laugh..
Now, I know how to do it...
