It's easy Nauti. Tape one side down, raise the other side up, score the back with the tip of a sharp knife, peel it and stick it. Pull the tape from the other side, peel and stick.

Easy Peasy

Tape down and I did opposite as YT started at one end and went across. It worked good. Once it's stuck it's stuck no moving. So get it in the right place. I don't know which way is easier for you. I tried doing it like Yt and it just didn't work right for me. Everyone is different. Just make sure it's clean. If your filling the screw holes do it today and let it dry completely. Other wise it will never dry under there. Start with your walk through and get used to it before going tothe platform.
Good luck and pictures.

Not to hi-jack this post, but have been looking at this for our 220.

We always have dogs on the boat and my fear is that they'll tear it up.

Anyone else have experience with these surfaces and pets. They're big dogs too. 1 is 75lbs, the other is 95lbs.

Booties. My Corgi is little at 6 mths but I still watch it pretty close. Do you allow your dogs in the seats? If you don't have damage there it's likely you won't on the sea deck material except on the edge if they're trying to claw their way back in the boat, or if they launch into the water. Right now I keep a towel on the lower deck but again, I'm watching it pretty close. I would think a bigger dog would probably cause some damage if you're not careful

Dont do it....we have an 80lbs dog and the ONE time we took him out he put a few scratches in the seadek on the platform. Hes kind of a spaz....but the chances of damage are high IMO.

Gotcha.

No, they are not allowed on the seats unless they have a towel underneath them.

They do jump off the back and swim to the bank occasionally. Then, obviously they come back and we pull them onto the swim platform.

I just really like the idea of having something on that back surface because when going from boat to boat, it is crazy slippery and people step on the seats....

I'll post a picture of what I have left of my other seadek like material. $70 your good to go and who cares if it gets ripped up. I'll lay it on mine to see if I have enough for the platform. I was going to use it until I decided to go the teak look.

Ok it's not big enough for a 1 piece install. 2 piece no prob.

Whippled263 wrote: Sun Nov 05, 2017 7:04 am As you can see the lines go across the boat. Yes a template has to be sent to them. The hard work is done tho. I have the blue prints from seadek. If anyone would like them I can mail them to you so you can have the flooring made. Once your finished with them just mail them back to me. Guys I also have all of the factory carpet in BRAND NEW condition if any one is interested. Remove the snaps and seal the holes with just about any waterproof sealant.
PM sent Chris.

I got quoted $860 for just my rear platform and Swim Deck by SC Wake, this price seems super high as I though I remember reading some of you were getting the whole damn boat for $1200.

Anyone willing that has done just the rear of the boat willing to share their price?

I think I just paid around $770 from aqua marine. Still waiting on a quote for the cockpit. I think it will be over a grand for that.
