Finally a Cobalt Owner

Post by Chase845 »

Hello All -

We just got a 2009 Cobalt 210 with 170 hours on the merc. It's in really exceptional condition and I'd like to keep it that way. Any suggestions on what to use for buffing/polishing?

Hey Chase , welcome from California! Finally requires more of a story line. Pics.. pics.. we need pics of that Red 210.

Polishing gel coat is covered a lot in our maintenance threads. Please take time to browse the threads and use the search bar . Your model is very popular and our members would like to assist!

Hey chase845, welcome to the Cobalt chat forum. So glad you found us!

Such a low hour Cobalt too. 👍

There are many great products out there for buffing and polishing. I just buffed mine out (using a Flex Dual action orbital polisher) with 3M Marine Restorer & Wax. Then I followed that up with Meguiars Marine Wax. It’s just one of many options out there. Search the forum for what will work best for you.

...and once again, Welcome aboard mate!
