Was going to chime in but will await the return.
Tuscany - mine has rudder angle in the dial options, not a separate dial.

Are you saying the garmins have the rudder indicator? Thats cool if so...but not sure why this indicator is necessary? Folks use it?

I would love to have it just for pulling skiers. For some reason I always take off with the drive turned. I have to quickly turn it straight as I hit it. Any other time I pretty much know which way is turned.

I would always get the most motor...you will make it up on resale, so it’s really just a loan!! The next thing that I would have never bought but now I won’t live without the Windlass! Thing is awesome

Anchoring on table rock can be challenging. Especially if you have a 10+ mph wind. I’ve had good luck with my digger anchor so far. But My next boat will have windlass for sure.

Dual standard screens display this, and both are customizable.
I value the lake bottom chart feature on the left screen the most. I can see what's coming from the bottom, and it gives me plenty of time to avoid shallow or rock cluster areas below.

I think the rudder indicator has its own screen, which removes one of the stock Garmins.
The Rudder indicator is a part of the the instruments on the garmin screen. It can be shown on the GPS screen (by default here on the top left) or can be part of the multi instrument screen. It doesn't remove the stock garmins. I believe you are thinking of the Surf Models or anything with the GPS speed control will remove one of the two standard stock Garmins.

The bottom one is the GPS speed control, that is what takes room and thus one screen disappears. My brother has the duel screen with rudder control. He likes it alot.

That isn't the current R5 rudder indicator. Now it is in the Garmin.
