FOOD!!

Post by Ytmsn »

I thought it might be fun to see what you guys like to eat. Me, I LOVE to eat. I just have to be very disciplined or I'll get big as a duroc hog.

A7 has the crabs. Wait, I mean he's eating crabs. He sent a picture of a crab fest. I dont want to post his picture, he will post it if he wants.

This was us having a shrimp boil last weekend.
Post 'em if ya got 'em!

Most of you probably know that I’m in the meat biz. I look at the finest steaks, pork, fresh home made sausages and poultry all day long.
I’ll take a hand packed ground round burger on the grille with ketchup and a slice of vidalia onion. 😜 I’m not much of a steak eater. It’s all about a great burger for me..

We also have a homemade marinate that contains brown sugar, rosemary, red wine vinegar and a few more secrets that make the most wonderful chicken breasts on the grille...😜😜
Aside from that, I luuuUUUve Italian.

So we live in Covington, LA which is on the North shore of Lake Pontchatrain. We are about 45 minutes from the French Quarter of New Orleans and everyone knows we have some pretty good food in these parts. But for 4-5 months in the Spring it's Crawfish Season. People have Crawfish Boils and everyone knows the best way to boil and the seasoning to use. They are tasty fo' sho'. Here are a couple of platters about to be disposed of....

Next year y'all should come and join us and we'll get a couple bags and boil 'em up.

Don't know why I'm talking like that....I'm from Seattle, Seafood Capital of the World and I've only been here 2 years. But the crawfish are awesome.
