Thanks.
...second option with just arms attached and folded with bimini cover on.

The 1st option would be called parachute mode.! :?

okay. Thats what I thought, but wanted to make sure. I didn't want have to open and close the Bimini all the time if it was not necessary.

Plastic wrap seems to be a winner so far, thanks guys! It really reduces the profile of the boot. 1.5 hours down, about 5.5 to go :)

That's a good pic Thunder - your boat is purty.

I just did 700 miles RT and put the bimini in the down position. I used pool noodles on the uprights and it kept my gelcoat scratch free. I know I got slightly better gas mileage with it down plus it stayed bug free. Plus I didn't worry about the low bridges in Missouri LOL

If I were to tow a long distance, I would definitely tow with it down. Easy for me to say because it's just a flip of a lock, and it slides horizontal in a second and stays completely secure..

I'm wondering if the new slide system is retrofittable for those who travel? Is retrofittable a word?😒
For our fab guys, watch the first minute of this video and check it out.

It's at the bottom of Mission Bay. Luckily the boat wasn't hooked on and floated off. Oh well :lol

Down with a noodle or wrapped. I don't like it shaking for that long.

BB even takes his down backing into his garage.
