I found these and installed them on my quick clips and they are amazingly easy to adjust. Best fenders I’ve ever owned. The company is Mission and it is called their Sentry Fender.
I like the look of these. Do you know what is the largest diameter piling they would fit ?

ImageMy 282 came with different clips and I just got the pins to go with them. Not as robust as the factory ones used today but I'm hoping they work well. It's nice not using up cleat space.

I use mine all the time best thing since sliced bread. Just be sure and carry a couple of extra fenders with conventional lines for those special occasions where the dock is shorter than the boat or your clips aren't exactly in the right location. I carry 2 additional.

My dealer installed these on our 220 at beginning of summer and we have had to get 2 of the clips replaced already due to the small keeper ball at the end of the clip falling out. Anyone else having this issue? Dealer replaced without issue but still frustrating.

Glad to hear they are working out for you Driller. I have quick knots tied off of regular ropes and ran through so I can adjust height fairly quickly if need be. DJB, I wonder if you have the same type? Mine are actually a little hard to get out sometimes as their pretty tight. Is the pin actually breaking on yours? This is what's on my boat https://www.westmarine.com/buy/perko--f ... cordNum=10
Let us know what is failing so I look out for it.

Its the push in clip. The ball at the end of it is what I am having problems with. Without the little ball it pulls out with no resistance.

Call big sky and ask them if this happens a lot or if something could be wrong with your base causing the ball to drop out

Different design than the Perko brand I am using. If the Perko slot would cover that hole you could switch them out for $16 a pair?

Another option.... http://www.marinepartdepot.com/new316ststqu.html

I've installed these on another boat and they seem to hold really well. Next plan will be to add some to the Cobalt

I love mine too but don’t like how the rubber around the female part of it almost looks like it’s got dry rot. I was told by my dealer that when they are installed it compresses the rubber and it the pressure caused them to split a little. Does everyone else have the same issue?

I’m probably the only one here but I hate the quick clips. If you have floating docks then they are ok. Around here most docks are fixed which means every dock will be a different height and with the clips adjustment is a real pain. We actually took ours off the clips and just tie to the cleats. Works muck better for us

Can I buy your clips too? 😂😂😂
Do they come with or without the boat.
Solve this problem I will.
I keep at least 4 fenders on my boat 2 have clips on them 2 don't. Problem solved. I wish I had them but it's a low priority list of mine. If I was built a boat it would be on it.

There's always the ever-classy "mermaid" fenders from Taylor Made (saw some at West Marine recently):
