I'm a new Cobalt boat owner ('03 262), so definitely a newbie here. If newbies are accepted, I would like to intoduce myself. I'm pretty excited on the future with my boat and didn't really consider anything other than Cobalt. I'm also in KC, so heading to Kansas for this event is certainly possible, so I'm looking into it if it's still open. Would definitely help accelerate my interaction with this forum and getting to know the gang. I just read 17 pages of this thread, and it seems like a pretty cool event for sure!

Thank you everyone for such a welcome reception! I'm super pumped to be a Cobalt boat owner. A lot to learn I'm sure.

I've already joined the Slack channel, so I will be following that as info is shared. This was a very last minute thing for me, so I am trying to see if I can get off work on Friday to make the trek. I'm going to the Chiefs game on Thursday night (HUGE game for us), so I wouldn't be able to meet anyone that night unfortunately.

Gdane, we mostly spend our lake time at the Lake of the Ozarks. Don't have a place yet, but have been renting places for 20 years. Table Rock is a beautiful lake!

YT, I will check your PM and give you all the details you need if I can make the trip.

Here's a quick pic of her. Got the arch, the extended swim platform and all the filler cushions, which seems to be the three Holy Grails. It's also got a bump'in Wet Sounds sound system too, which doesn't hurt. No trim tabs that I was originally looking for, which seems like an easy add, but I'm told this boat doesn't need them. Now it's tough waiting for summer!

Welcome aboard nice boat! I believe the PO was on the Cobalt boats facebook page because it looks awfully familiar. I have the same boat but in candied red.

Don't be absurd. Everyone knows that PO stands for "Per Os", which is is an adverbial phrase from Latin literally meaning "by opening" or "by way of the opening."

This is clearly the intended usage above.

Hey gang,

I am 90% sure I'm in on Friday. Lots going on at work, but I think I've managed to get clear everything to take the day off. I will of course let you all know if I have to bow out, but I think I'm good and looking forward to it. Also, I have a large Yukon XL, so I can drive a few folks very comfortably, and even more less comfortably.

YT, I tried to send you a PM with all my contact info, and whatever else you may need to get me on the roster, but it seems to be stuck in the "Outbox". Let me know if you didn't receive anything. I will also post on the Slack channel.

P.S. I also happen to be a fan of lemonade :)

Safe travels to all those coming into the fine city of KC!
