TBH at this point I just look for good mid-range at listening volume that can be heard while cruising (with the CC closed). When we anchor up for the day we have a Bluetooth speaker we put on the transom to listen to.

AK Prolly why I went a little over board on my stereo upgrade. I loce to listen to both the CC and the tunes. Gets my motor running and my mind in a great place.

Blasphemy! Nothing should pollute the glorious sound of an uncorked big block!

I could probably talk the Wife into a 2020 TRL meetup, I really want to hit that water.

I disagree Akro! My favorite sound is the CC open with this cranking over the stereo. Like gdane, it gets me revved UP!

ok, ZZ Top may be the one exception. Saw them on the Recycler Tour and it's amazing how much sound 3 guys can make.

I will start a thread later. But wish I could do a meet up this year but I really don't think it's going to happen.
So I'm going to start a 2020 meet up there on TR. I've already started rounding up a few members so I think this could get pretty big. Again I think members from both coast will show up.

You should circle the last Saturday in July as a possible date. That is when the harbor puts on the table rock cobalt regatta

Yea but how do the resorts fill up then that week. I really just want our group together. Sorry I'm spoiled. I like bond with this group. I'm going to get a hold of Dooleys just Down from you to see if they have the whole resort open one week. They have 20 private slips to rent for 8 bucks a day. I stayed their last time and it was great.

Hey I’m just laying out options here . This sounds awesome as well. The Regatta is a really cool event but keeping a large group together would be impossible. You just say when and I’ll be there. Or if you need someone to be the boots on the ground finding a resort for everyone I’m your man . If you are wanting a timeframe where the lake traffic isn’t crazy yet then I would say pre 4th of July. When YT came up last season in early June lake conditions were perfect. 80 degree water temps and vacation season had not kicked into high gear yet.

I've been on the chain. It's shallower then our lake. I'll skip it. Barney's is fun. Thursday drags some day maybe.

Yeah we’re there on Thursday’s. It’s shallow for sure, took me a few years to get comfortable going anywhere but the main navigation channels. Still get prop strikes once in a while...

That’s crazy! Warmest I’ve seen Table Rock is 85-86. It’s a deep lake though. The channel is anywhere from 100-250ft deep. You have to get really far back in coves to find a place to anchor. I freak out when my depth finder gets below 20ft.

250’, lol, the deepest part of the Chain is like 25-30’ and average depth is about 6’. Grass Lake you can literally walk across, average depth is 3’, though there’s 3 more feet of muck under that.
