Finally Bought a Cobalt

Hello everyone,
Some of you know I've been on the hunt for a 262 for many months. I've search many websites on a daily basis and have driven and flown many miles. Last week we purchased a 2004 Cobalt 262. She not perfect, and needs some TLC, but thanks to my kids college fund, she's all ours! Thanks to BBP and A7 for all the guidance and advice. The best decision we made buying a boat was spending the money for a certified pre-purchase survey and evaluation. Best money we've spent so far. She'll be docked in either Erie PA or Hampstead NC depending on the time of year. I'll try and document our journey bringing her back to her past glory. BTW, her name is "Mean Bean"

Once again, congrats Samuri33! She's a beauty with all the right fixin's. Looking forward to your documenting the journey too.

Can't wait to ride formation with ya' on Lake Erie. Summer can't come fast enough!

....and get those tires cleaned up.

Welcome! Very nice ride with awesome colors. I’m sure she’s going to look brand new with just a little Love. Under that slight oxidation is a blinding shine!
I’m just down the road from Erie, and maybe we can have a meet up with A7!

Thank you all for the warm welcome, I am way behind on documenting my Cobalt journey, so I am going to start tonight as a separate posting. A7 and BBP encouraged me to document the steps I've taken to become a Cobalt owner and things I've done to her along the way. So look for my Cobalt 262 diary!
