Clunk what clunk? Maybe you have to much hp pushing that baby. But that you have to worry about that drive anymore. I'm totally hasn't with my BG syn gear lube in my drive. Worlds of a diff.

My old Alpha would clunk pretty good, like the satisfying sound classic car doors make when you shut them. My Bravo is a firm transition, but no clunk to really speak of. The dual prop definitely changes they way you drive at low speeds. I put out of a pretty weedy channel, and I always throw it in reverse and 'goose' it to clear the prop before taking off. well, the first time I took the Cobalt out I didn't think about the dual prop and gave it the same 'goose' I gave the Alpha...needless to say it looked something like this.

Maybe "clunk" was the wrong term. I was just surprised when the dealer floated the boat off the trailer with me on it started it up and put it in reverse. It made a easily audible "bang" which was felt through the hull. Being my first boat, I wasn't expecting that sound. The dealer told me it is completely normal and is the sound you want to hear and it indicates the transmission is fully engaged.

That's certainly a start. I like the virtual bumper idea. Maybe this will allow more folks to take their honkin' cruiser out for a spin instead of leaving it docked for the entire summer due to docking fears.

I’m not a fan of this. Half the fun of boating is practically getting a divorce every time you dock the boat in a cross wind 😂😂😜

Isn't that cool to watch and to have a boat that you don't care what you hit with it. Lok
