Hey WL. Never received your email. To whom did you send it? I don't have any private messages from you either.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Please PM me. We can certainly look into this for ya'. :geek:

I’m sorry, but if your skin is that thin, I would suggest wrapping up your internet message career.
I don’t know what happened, and do not care. But please, I have never been on any site as respectful to one another as our friends here.
There are going to be many things one may take offense with where the person doesn’t know it was an offensive to post.
Let it go and chalk it up to internet misunderstanding.
If not, then it’s been a pleasure...

I’m on every day, but not every hour, and there’s no message to me or to the administrator account. Any flagged post or problem and Aslan or I usually see it within a few hours. Oh well.

Whoa, WL I apologize if you thought I was talking about your boat. I was really referring to my namesake! I have ALL the respect for Wightlighting. I hope to meet you in person in June.

Yes he is, and it's all good. WL and tgrace hang in the coves all the time, so I'm sure we'll get to meet up in June. He PM'd me and explained what's going on.

The people that are selling the 272 on TRL are dirt-clods and not treating folks very well at all. When WL and his wife went to look at that boat they disrespected them, so he has asked to delete the thread so it doesn't support them or the sale.

However he is acting like an a$$ to everyone with his recent post. Scams should be removed. Other than that, a post should be left alone as that be comes a slippery slope. I don’t like everything I read on the site but I realize this is the internet and it is filled with weirdos. Other than that I visit this place constantly and it brings much enjoyment.

When I show up as a cash buyer and never get to the point of even making an offer because my wife and I are told to our faces "the owner will only sell to the right people" and apparently we were/are not the "right kind of people". It should have been a simple request to have the thread deleted but others thought it might be a great opportunity to attack without facts...…….

I've got a place for them to stick that boat and there isn't much daylight in that place! :)

Sorry for your experience. They sound like crap people. Everyone on here knows they suck now...but remember...context sheds light on everything. No one can understand your experience if you don’t post it

See that’s how you open a thread. With actual experience and facts. Your vague dialogue is going to create no support of your occurrence unless you clearly explain to the members here what happened.
I went through similar dialogues with that dealer when it first listed for sale.( thats what them being “coy” was in reference too). Yes they aren’t what I expected either.
You’ll have great support here regardless if threads get removed, but I would suggest you direct your hostility in the right places in the future.

Thanks for your advice. I'd suggest you consider the same. "I’m a member just like you pal. "
