I have been checking out the sea deck on the boats around me and they look dirty? Does it clean up, or is that wear? Anyone know?

It really hard to keep clean. I spent an hour today scrubbing my swim platform mats. I know people love it and are doing whole boats in it. But I never would.

Mild soap and a soft brush mine cleans up pretty quick. Only complaint have I had so far is no more sand castles on the swim deck.

I've never had a problem keeping mine clean, but mine is sand over black. I think the greys or light tans would be harder to keep cleans.

Occasionally I'll get a stain from a shoe, like when it's in the shop and a mechanic climbs on with shoes, but it always washes right out with a power washer. I've never scrubbed it before, but may this summer since the boat is on the lift.

Of course, my dock is about 100 yards from the bank with the flooding, so right now it's easy to keep clean!

That's the other thing... I had a custom cover made to include the extended swimdeck so it wouldn't get all the nastiness on it while covered. I've noticed a lot of mooring covers that only cover the boat, leaving the swimdeck exposed all the time, and that makes a HUGE difference.

Castaway Installed mine on my new R5 late this afternoon. Fantastic job and I got the logo C crest. Storm gray over black teak. Looks great. We’ll see about how hot it is and how hard it’s going to be to keep clean.

I bought the juice stuff they sell to clean it. Sin enough you will find out. It cleans easy just dirties easier.
