NP guys glad to help! There will be a bunch of boxes of stereo equipment strewn around. Just do a quick all hands on deck install of my tower speakers and amp. Then you can be on your way!
Let me know if you are serious, I can bring tools and have some leftover wire laying around. Happy to help.
I'll bring my drill. I get to drill the first hole
Yes it may be the last too. Lol
Is the boat on a lift. We have to get the wire to the other side of the boat right. Down and under. 5200 seals anything.
Now now BBP lets not scare him off, we need to use his boat lol.
Seriously TR it should be pre-wired worst part will be running a power wire for the amp. BBP is very small he can fit in compact spaces so it could be a perfect time to do it lol.

I would hope the power wires is there already. That's what I would be using. Only wet sounds though. Sorry.
Can I do the transom speakers?

Speaker wire is already there and the power wire is already there. I’ve been trying to talk Mrs Tgrace into it but she keeps coming back to something dumb I said to get the new boat. “If we get the new boat I won’t spent any money on upgrades” well I’ve already got about a 3k list of upgrades lol.
If not we all have keys that should work. Thanks ahead of time. See Jeff no need to rent

Lol....i would be if i really was gonna spend the money. Still debating all that. Before we consider handing over the boat, i want to make sure I'm not gonna be there!

Apparently the issue is wiring the amp to the actual stereo under the head space. Connecting speakers is the easy part. My debate is how much id use....we have transom speakers already and they are pretty good for anchoring.

It shouldn’t be too hard. 2 of the items are on her list.
The list is
Tower speakers
Under water LED’s
Cobalt dinette Table (I know there are cheaper options but for what I spent on the boat I’m getting the matching)
Bow filler
I am trying to see if we can swing the trip. It is my youngest birthday on the Wednesday before, so not sure yet. Going to look into places to stay and such. I would probably try to come in Thursday night late.

We are staying at hunters friends hotel. But from what nauti's said only smoking rooms avail. Bring a candle.

You know I’m in! And there is always room for any Cobalt chat member on my boat. Well to a certain point
I can tell you the Harbor sponsored Regatta will be Saturday the 27th and it will be in the Chateau on the lake cove (near Indian point and the Dam). They do a lunch, a poker type run and a huge raft up. Last year they floated a barge out there and had a band playing on the barge.
Friday one of the members of the Facebook group has setup a classic cobalt cruise but really anyone is invited. It will go from Indian point to Campbell point marina (shell knob) that will leave from probably the harbor at 9am.
If anyone is looking for accommodations still let me know. The complex im in does nightly rentals and I can get people a discount. They rent on the higher end but close to the marinas and it’s on Indian point. Pm me if you are interested.
I will be there from the 25th to the following Wednesday. So come one come all!
Also here is a link to photos from last year's regatta. You do not need a facebook account to view them
Yes! We’ll have lunch and cruise then a raft up. It is geared for the “vintage” styled Cobalts, as we are shooting a “classic Cobalt” music video during the cruise and raft-up.
However, ALL are welcome! We’ll line the classics up stern-to-stern with all of the newer boats and it’ll be a blast.
Like Tgrace said, a caravan of us are leaving Indian Point at 0900 Friday morning. Heading to TRL next week to scout waypoints for the cruise and video.

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but when is the TRL meet up and where on TRL?
Thanks.
The regatta which is hosted by The Harbor is Saturday July 27 at Chateau on the Lake. (Always the last Saturday in July) Registration emails should be coming out soon.
Can’t wait! We are trailering out from Massachusetts, about 23 hours of driving to be there! Staying at the campground at Indian point with some other fellow classics. Should be an amazing couple of days for us proud Cobalt owners!
