Solar Powered Dock Navigation Lights

Post by Driller »

Guys / Gals,

Looking for a recommendation for some solar powered dock navigation lights.

My HOA has one dock with about 30 boats which sets reasonably close to the main channel on Lake Travis. We currently have 6 solar powered navigation lights on the dock and in addition 2- 120V lights. The solar lights are pretty weak in comparison, and the Dock Committee is looking to replace them with something better.

I've done a little research, and it appears they make 1 mile, 2 mile, and 3 mile visibility lights. I think we would want the 3 mile, but we have no experience with a manufacturer.

Looking for a recommendation.

Thanks in advance.

I use three post mounted Solar LED lights. So far so good. Just need to get 4” vinyl poles with trim bottoms and your good. Had them a year and still bright.
Didn’t know they’re mile rating ? Let me know what you find!
