Hello everyone!

I think I came up with a name for our boat, but wanted to see what everyone thinks, and give a little back story first.

My wife and I bought our first boat in 2005, it was a 21’ crownline. It gave us many years of great service and was an excellent boat for our local lakes. We recently purchased a place in South Lake Tahoe and our Crownline started to show its deficiencies. We had talked about eventually getting a replacement, we even started looking online to see what the used market was like. Her plan was to finish out the season with our existing boat and MAYBE get something for next season.

Well, this is where the story gets interesting  We had planned to be in Tahoe for almost the entire week of July 4th with our son and my brothers 2 girls, our plan was to leave Tuesday. On Monday I was a little bored and decided to stop by our local boat dealer who happens to sell Cobalt, just to see what their inventory was like. I had already researched various models and really liked the CS23. As soon as I walked through the door, there was a CS23 on the showroom floor that was almost exactly how I would have ordered it. I fell in love with the looks, the room and the quality. My sales guy asked if I wanted to fill out paperwork and I told him that I was just looking and would need to discuss with the wife first, he then says if I let him know soon, he could have it delivered to Tahoe and in the water before the 4th. I did the unthinkable and pulled the trigger without talking to my wife first   . Believe it or not, she took it better than expected, and I’m still married lol! Signed papers Tuesday, boat delivered to Tahoe on Wednesday, watched the fireworks on the lake from the new boat on Thursday the 4th.

So yesterday my wife and I were on our way out to Sand Harbor In Tahoe to spend the day relaxing, I looked at her and said we should name the boat “No Permission”, she laughed and gave me the thumbs up lol. What do you guys think?

This a a picture I grabbed off a website, I sent it to a friend who does signed and graphics so he could play with placement and fonts.

Let me know what you guys think, and sorry for the long story lol!

Maybe I should name the boat “still married”

Unbelievable, I literally bought my 220 yesterday and like u we are huge Seinfeld fans. We were going to go with “Serenity now” or “The Red Menace” (from the rogers chicken episode and because it it red.

Our family are HUGE Seinfeld fans.

In fact our last Golden Retriever was named Newman.
We would come home and say "Hello---Newman".😊

Our new golden is named "Duke" but his middle name is Fargus. 😁 Maybe some of u Seinfeld fans may get the reference

Ran across this forum thread regarding interesting Seinfeld boat names.

Currently we like "Vandalake Industries"

Or

"Searenity Now." 😎

Yep I tried to reply to your post, but kicked it up. Technologically spastic. But a gigantic Seinfeld fan.

We are going to name our R5 "Time Well Wasted, II" I just need to figure out the best way to get it to fit with all of the warning stickers. I guess they will have to go. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I would never remove any warning stickers they are there for a reason. They also go well with the hull.

Not me. I'd take them off with a heat gun and a little goo gone, and that's where I'd put the name.

I'd do it just to make BB nervous!

I removed all of them on my R7 and put the name exactly where you want to. Hair dryer and a plastic razor blade and they come right off. Then some goo gone and hot sauce afterwards to get that shine and gunk free.
