Thank you to Ytsmn , and Tgrace for letting me bond with your flag!! Thanks BB to make drilling holes in a boat look fun..
I’m flying out to Kentucky to install one on the Nautis!

Here’s the tools I used.

Nicely done Matt. After reading this, Mr. Nauti is no more ready to get the tools out so we look forward to your visit!
Yes, well done matt.
During the regatta I notice I was about the only boat without a flag. So I was thinking I should probably fix that. But I also don't see me drilling that hole. Maybe I should grab a lemonade and think about this for a while.🥃🥃🥃
We can do this I have this big hole saw now 🤣🤣

My tickets are booked and a 5 inch hole saw is purchased for the flag.
Just helped a buddy replace speakers in his hot tub, you know because not having working speakers in your hot tub is a terrible thing. Had to drill new 1/8in holes, you are right Matt drilling holes in other people's fiberglass is MUCH easier than drilling in your own.

The TSA may not let you fly /w that 5in hole saw though, I'll just pickup a 1 1/4in if thats ok?

Very true. All weather floor mats are next. Maybe I'll stripe the car. Not sure yet.

I've run through some rough water over the weekend and there was no problem with the mount or mirror, both rock solid. The mount comes with additional rubber skims so you can build up the mount in the areas that need it.

In addition I drive standing up at night and the mirror does not get in the way. I can easily see over the top.

Made a world of difference pulling tubes, the view is so wide that you can see the tube almost all the way to the outside of the swing.

Not cheap, but it is quality made kit with a super clear view. I'm very happy with the quality, durability, and mount which folds down to install your boat cover.

Hey Driller, I was wondering about your mirror bracket you bought, ZXR-220. On the PTM edge website, when I put in my 2008 222, it says to use the ZXR-200 Mirror Bracket, same when I put in your boat, 2011 242. Why did you buy the ZXR-220 instead of the ZXR-200? How does it fit? I want to buy this mirror and bracket, just trying to get the best one for my boat. The ZXR-220 says "designed for a PCMW trim". Thank you!

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I've looked through my records and I can't find the confirmation for the exact model of mount I ordered. I would go with their recommendation. I can't remember at the time I posted this if I was 100% sure that I ordered that mount or I just linked to a similar mount. sorry.

They have almost 40 script fonts, and their preview tool is pretty good compared to many of the others. I also paid a few extra bucks for the premium 3M vinyl, but time will tell how it holds up.

Thank you for the advice. I ordered from the same site and just received my new letters for my cobalt. Excited to install them
