We live in a small town that has one of NY’s State university. As a small business, we hire a lot of college kids looking for a job. Some good, some great, some so-so, and some who really need to learn structure and work ethic...
We hired a bushy haired kid named Nate. You know how it ended up.

The back story became a big part of our lives. During that time period, we hired some of Nate’s friends, my daughters and sons friends, and it was a very special time with a lot of high character young men and women.
They that all became part of our “forever” family. Many of them married, and all of them remain very close to Wendy and I. It seemed almost everyone in the wedding part had a personal connection made from college and working at the deli.
It’s the lasting connection to that entire crew, watching them grow, and seeing the people they have become that makes us grateful that it all happened... I know ALL of us look back and are very thankful to the special connection we enjoy.
