Well, two things. KISS is in town tonight for their "seriously we are never, (well not NEVER), but probably definitely never coming back to your town tour", and it is supposed to snow tonight. I keep the boat in a storage garage about 12 miles away. I'm hoping for an install either this weekend or early next week. I did notice that these wheels are going to require some thin-wall sockets to be able to reach the lug nuts. I ordered a nice set off of Amazon last night that I'll put with all the other things we carry with us when we tow. It DOES look like the wheels will accept the same run of the mill style lug nuts though.

Tire Rack is pretty good about this - if the wheels require different lug nuts, they'll ship with them.

I ended up emailing (or chatting with them) and they said the old lug nut style will work. I'm going to confirm that and make sure, and then buy some brand new ones. Luckily they are only about $3.50 for 5, so about $15 to get all new for the 4 going on the axles.

Tire and wheel installation is on hold until my new Vortex hubs get here. I'm going to pull everything off and do it all at one time. I ordered the hubs Friday so hopefully they will be here by the end of the week.

Well if you didn't see them on Facebook, yesterday was the day. All new hubs, and the new tire/wheels were installed. Added a really stout spare tire holder I bought directly from our trailer manufacturer that mounts right to the bow eye as well.

As you can see I got my bilge princess to be a tire, wheel, hub and brake princess. She's pretty awesome.

I'm more than happy with how they turned out. It looks like the brakes are not working right now so that will be the next thing we tackle.

Nice job SD...and so much nicer than those galvanized generic wheels. Great documentation too for the site. Thank you!

Oh she knows. Whenever she sees me struggling with something she asks if I need the (insert thing I’m struggling with) “princess” to fix it. 😂
