Great title along with great pics. Exactly what’s needed to offset the situation!🤣

As the unknown anxiety of our surroundings escalates I wish everyone normalcy soon.
I’m definitely becoming more educated this go around with viruses that I have in the past.
Is it media ? Science? Yes to that for me.

But I’ll continue to party like a Retired rockstar ( they eat better) and get through this with y’all!

That’s Missouri talk right there!

Thats right, you live in Missouri now. You may have to actually buy a gun. Difficult times from someone from Cali.

Well this would be a first.....senior partners on the executive committee are talking office shutdown. No official word yet but they've been meeting all morning and now sending out calendar invites to all partner and management groups.

You know s**t is getting weird when a CPA firm is talking about shutting its doors during tax season. Never seen or heard of such a thing.....

Buddy of mine is head of IT for a large CPA firm... shut down.

Going to stop client meetings in-person. IDK as long as the market is open I'll be working. Super weird environment. Once you see this curve flatten start buying.

WWT has decided to enforce our BCD plan and send everyone home that is able to work from home. So I get to spend the next couple weeks praying all our systems can hold to the onslaught of 3500 additional remote workers.

Crazy has broken out at our store. Saturday was busy, yesterday was super busy....Today was an eye opener.
We were fully prepared by ordering everything we could get our hands on, and today we are out of beef. I was at it early this morning, scrounging up product and we should be in great shape for a few more days. FYI, beef wholesale prices were climbing by the hour..

Crazy Indeed. So far my company is not allowing people to work from home and has made a statement that they will not allow any additional remote access. We were given to the option not to travel at our own discretion but no official policy—doesn’t matter anyway—customers are canceling most of not all meetings

As for the market, I honestly wish I was better at trading. I have no clue what to buy if I am really honest...there is going to be a group that makes a killing while the market is bloody

Well the travel out of California was surreal in the vibe.
TSA was zero line, and the smell of hand sanitizer was everywhere. Our excitement exceeded our common sense but we are glad to be away as they shut down counties around us in the Bay Area.
Plane was 10 % fill , and everyone was calm.. or so it appeared.
Hopefully we’re flying home and not driving in a few days.

Sailor - Honestly don't overthink it. Once the case curve flattens hop in some index funds. S&P. Set and forget. You don't have to catch it all just be involved. PM if you have questions.

Dear god, the potential unemployment numbers are startling... Just crazy, and I’m not sure where this begins to shore up.

For us, We’re buying proteins to max capacity. I’m getting everything I can secure in our store where I have it under our roof, where it doesn’t mysteriously disappear from our distributors coolers. I’m certain there will be no shortages in supply, but the logistics are the issue right now..

Working in the commodities world, Oil & Gas primarily, this has been a completely insane world the past week. Houston is preparing for layoffs on a scale not seen in a longtime.

Saudi Arab / Russia are taking the opportunity with the Coronalight virus to kill the US shale production companies. Heard they already sent 8 supertankers to Houston in past week to overwhelm the crude prices and drive them lower. Might work, might not work, not sure. They are showing everyone they can flood the market at will.

On the positive note, boating fuel cost are not going to be the problem this summer. Saw wholesale CBOB,regular 84, selling for $.68 in Nashville. Granted you would need to add in taxes distribution and an octane enhancer(ethanol primarily), still looking at $1.15 to $1.25 at the pump around here. Only will see these prices in a couple of weeks as retailers are always slow to lower prices.

If anything, the public's attention span is only shorter than their patience, so I think folks will move on soon. The media didn't hype this hysteria with any of the other pandemics on things that are way worse than Corona, and as Liquid said, watch the infection curve. And when a vaccine is found, as long as it's not priced to the moon everyone will get it and it'll be over. Then the dust will settle from the markets and we'll all be talking about how crazy it was around the back of the boats this summer!

Hopefully...
