5. Freshwater boat. Stored covered on covered lift in AR. Now, in Houston
6. New custom mooring cover 3 years ago
7. Convertible top. No bimini.
8. I can;t find any scratches, tears or blemishes in vinyl or gelcoat.Bow speaker grill cover needs repair. a common problem. Most remove the fabric and power coat the metal grill underneath. Some replace the fabric.
9. No trailer. Sits on borrowed trailer that could probably be used for delivery. Or I can buy new high-quality tandem aluminum trailer from McClain I Houston for about $6,200, if buyer wants it delivered on trailer. It will take 4-5 weeks to get this new trailer. I can help deliver up to around 300 miles for a reasonable fee per mile.
10. Very well maintained. I talked to tech before I bought that did work since new. He did all maintenance and regular buff and wax.
11. I bought it from an estate. The owner had an aviation business with planes and helicopters, so he knew how and why to care for things. And he had the $ to do it right. with an open checkbook.
12. See pics including serial # of the boat. Pic of numbers on engine tag are coming today. Straps are on boat for trip from AR and borrowed trailer was not a great fit.
13. I don't yet have engine read out of hours, but it will be coming.
14. Boat, trailer, some fuel and gear probably weigh 6,500-7,000 lbs.

I remember this 262. Another nice one with such low hours.

Why do I wince when I see those straps holding her down like that. . Maybe it’s just me. Wish you could set her free bmc. Here’s to (hopefully) a quick sale.

Several dealers say add $1,500-2,000 for super low hours. Hrs verifited with tech that worked on boat for 10+ years, but working to try and get report from reading hours from engine.

So, NADA Retail of up to $30,085. But, try to find a nicer example!

Factory options, per sticker included in pics = Battery switch. canopy/convertible top, docking light with stainless steel, morning cover (replaced 3yrs ago) transom shower and trim tabs.

List price was $80,138.

I think the retail value is still around $27-29k plus trailer With the super low hours that it had. Village Marina at like in the Ozarks sold a 2002 recently with 500 hours for $24k. So I don’t think the market has dropped.

Being that this is an older base model 262 with very few options, it’s actually a fair price for this one. The only reason it fetched the price it did (verses lower IMHO) is that it’s a second owner boat with relatively low hours.
