Looks awesome!! I wasn’t going to do my platform, but I might have to make a template after seeing yours. Love that you did the anchor locker and the built-in coolers too.

Definitely worth doing the platform. I love how it turned out. And I'm glad I went with the 3 layer / 9mm MarineMat material. Once I got it installed it is noticably more "cushion-y" than my old 6mm Seadek

I’ll have to make a template because I have cup holders, cleats and easy-up handles in my platform, but that looks way better than I imagined it would.

I had to do templates for all these parts too. It wasn't too hard to do. Just grab some mylar, tape it down, and go at it with a sharpie.

Finally got the new Bimini top modified and installed. I did solid rear bars with a quick release. And straps for the front. 6ft long and installed slightly higher than typical for lots of shade and lots of headroom.

Got the boat on the water today and cruised around for a couple hours. Everything runs spectacularly.

With the new 26P prop set I am hitting 45mph at 4,000rpm. And at wide open throttle 55mph at 4750rpm. That is with 3/4 tank of gas, 2 kids, and 2 adults. How does that compare with what you Mercruiser 7.4 MPI guys are seeing?

Does your engine have a sticker on it anywhere showing what the wot rpm should be? Prob around 4600 rpm.
4700 you should be ok. As you lighten your load you will hit around the 4800 range which myself would be ok. You just don't want to float any valves in that engine from too many rpms but I think your fine.

Not sure on the sticker. But I will check for sure. We live in the Austin area, so it would be rare for us to cruise over 30mph anyway since there's not really any huge bodies of water here. I was just checking out the entire rpm range after all the drivetrain work to make sure it was all good and healthy.

That looks awesome! I'm doing my front locker and coolers this spring as well, for looks obviously, but people always seems to use the coolers to step in the boat from the dock and they can get slippery.

Yup, that was us!!

We spent a few hours on the water yesterday and got back on the trailer 5 minutes before it started raining. Got lucky with the timing. It was sunny one minute and then the clouds rolled in, temp dropped from 83 to 70, and it rained Trying to make the best of things and keep the kids busy without taking them to anywhere with crowds and germs

Swapped out the front roller on the trailer finally. The old one is in the trash now. And I need to clean up the black marks it left behind.

I used permanent adhesive to attach the new Lexan overlay to the old factory metal piece. And I got all the switches/guages transferred over to the new modified right side panel last night. Now I need to work on the left side panel over the next few days.

So the adhesive is clear and you can't see it anywhere. That all looks great.
