Impeller Replacement

Unreal. Did you run it on the muffs this year? That's one thing I like about Volvo is no muffs needed.
Check your pwr str cooler and T stat and cool fuel and the bottom coolers under the exhaust manifolds.

Hi BBP! Nope, haven't run her on muffs yet this year, this damage happened in the fall when I was winterizing her. I was running her on muffs, the muffs slide down just enough to run her dry! I thought I caught it quickly because the engine never got warm, but long enough to toast the impeller. After this debacle, I bought a pair of Mercruiser muffs with the steel pin that runs through the drive, I won't ever make this mistake again!

Hello A7, how've you been buddy? New impeller is instilled, now we have to inspect and flush all the coolers. Plan to be back on Lake Eire Mid June. Can't wait to see y'all!

Hi A7! I had Greene Marine in Wilmington NC change the impeller, I'm going to flush the raw water system myself to get the impeller pieces out of her!
