Re: Bow Grab Handle- Port Side
So I have a different loose Grab Handle I can’t seem to access easily. It’s on the dash. I got my daughter’s little arm to go in through the opening behind the head mirror and retrieve the nut and washer. We can’t reach the threads to reattach from behind. Any ideas how to get the glove box out to give us more room? 2007 252

Those screws hold the door on, but I don’t think that will solve your problem. Pretty sure the actual box is part of the head door mold, all 1 piece. Do you have a pic of inside the door? Mine doesn’t have a mirror so may be a bit different.

With Stereo out I could reach the nut but trying to avoid having to pull that if I don’t have to.

Nice JGY444. Thanks for the pics.
If you do pull the stereo just take a pic (like you did) and reinstall from the pic.
Easy.

Aslan and Big Block - don’t think that thought wasn’t the first that crossed my mind!! Ended up coming at this from the Front as I was able to pry the dash forward just enough to let me daughter get her skinny arm in there and tighten the nut. After a year of looking at it I feel so happy to have it fixed!

Yes, great learning experience for your daughter. Like Akor said, great to get them involved. Such satisfaction!

Re: Bow Grab Handle- Port Side
I just tightened up the bow center grab handle in my A25 this afternoon - it's where the fold-out bench sections rest so it's pretty irritating when it's loose.
Man, that job sucked. It would have been fairly straightforward except that my boat has the dining table option and the mounting bracket bolts go right through the below-seat interior panels that you need to remove to get to the back of the handle bolts.
Ugh.
Anyway, it's done now and next time I'll have my teenager do it.
