Sketching out some ideas. I don't want two tone, I want to aim for a modern look similar to the new cobalt R interiors with the square stitching. Any thoughts? Is it going to be a disaster? Should I leave it alone? All feedback is welcome.

Personally I would redo it as it was. It will for sure be cheaper as they can use the old panels for templates. Are you having the entire thing redone? If yes, go for it, if no, the new will never flow with the old.

I saw somebody that did there's like that and I personally didn't like that but each his own. 1 color I think or 2 tone on just the edges.

Almost, going to redo all the seat backs and seat cushions and sundeck. The side bolsters are all in good shape so I'm thinking about leaving those.

I'm kinda afraid of that. I don't have the Photoshop skills to draw it up first either. I was going for something like this potentially

Ended up buying an industrial Juki sewing machine. Was well worth it.

Here is where I'm at so far. I learned a few things along the way. I think I'm going to redo this one again.

Is there ever really an "end" to a project? :)

Once I get the pattern locked down and templates made, I wonder if it's worth me making more of them (even in stock pattern) for others than want to replace them. Then all you have to do is remove the old cover and staple the new ones on.

Measure thrice. Cut once. :D

Finally got things laid out perfectly for the gas struts and brackets on the bow seatbacks.

Also sewed up some straps and added snaps so that the strap can be used to pull up easier. But also so that they don't fly open on accident while driving, just incase the new gas struts want to lift on their own. 8-)
