Ski pylon

Post by Flyn4freedom »

Good day everyone!

Any chance someone out there has a used ski pylon I could buy (402269)? I just bought a used 276 and trying to get her back into shape with all the missing equipment.

Thanks ahead!

Hey F4F. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!

Love the username. Military by chance?

There was a ski pylon on here for sale at one point. Another popped up on eBay recently.

Any pics of your Cobalt 276? What year and how is she powered?

Again welcome aboard mate!

Yes i am military. This is my second 2011 276 8.1. Very excited to be back in the water after a 8-year hiatus. Trying to get her back up to speed and repair all items back to spec. That darn pole is almost 1k. I was going to go base fab shop and have them manufacture from billet Aluminum but that’s unrealistic... sadly

That’s an awesome find! Do you think that will fit? The part number and pylon from cobalt seems different and the housing On my transom is threaded. I haven’t seen the pylon to date, and not sure if they’re interchangeable. I guess for $50 I can at least try...

How about a table arm? That’s my next challenge to procure.

You can have someone weld the bolt to the bottom that pole. Thats all Cobalt does. I've seen the one you need on here a few times. It must have just sold too. You could get a machine shop to thread it also. I need pictures of your table mount. It's either a Garelick mount or a Taco Marine or I have one of the others that you will never find. Lol pictures!
