Re: 1998 252 updating thread
Thanks, will look into that. Hopefully won't need it for a few years though.

Pretty tight, but should be good.

Elec box is mounted.
Just need my oil filter relocation bracket. Install rest of the exhaust and should be ready for start up.

I was going to install the oil filter bracket tonight, but went down to the docks instead. Hot day at work and wanted to cool off instead.
Need to fab up the bracket that was bent for me and get a coat of paint onto it.
Still wrapping up the stereo and LED light wiring.
Need my boat cover guy to actually show up too. He's "promised" me 4 times now he'll be there. It's been a month since I first talked to him about making the cover for me.
Still need to get my OH numbers for the boat since it's from out of state. But the watercraft dept is still not open due to CVD 19.
Soon, though. I've been busting my arse after work trying to get to this point.
Please be patient. I knew I was going to be behind the 8 ball when I couldn't get the boat up here in a timely fashion. Now, throw in all the great "craftsmanship" I've found along the way that needed repair and you get what we have here.
I learned a while back that you DO NOT rush watercraft repairs. It will come back and bight you in the rear. Take your time, be thorough, and make sure you look over EVERYTHING before you throw her in the water.

Complete bust today.
Wasted time and material.
Tried to nail a complex bracket in the first attempt. I don't know why I didn't make a template first?
Cut, drilled, and hole sawed a 1/4" piece of steel only to mock it up and be off 1/2"

Been there. I intentionally left enough meet around the edges to allow more holes. Good thing I did...

Bracket is made. Went to paint it and found I don't have any gloss black.
