250/255 pizza slice coolers

Post by Auburnbuilder »

Just curious if any one has found a soft cooler that fits well in the pizza slice cooler/storage area on these boats?
Wife like to be able to just bring a bag out if possible and drop it in.

I bought one of the semi soft coolers from Walmart and with a little massaging ti can fit into the cooler. Capacity is pretty low though ( alot of insulation). What we've found is that we just bring a few bags of ice with us and dump the ice straight into the built ins and then put our stuff right on top of the ice. There is so much insulation around those from the factory that the ice takes 2 days to melt.

I bought these from Walmart. I use 4 per cooler and they definitely make a difference!! Another thing to keep in mind, don’t start w room temp or hot beverages. They eat the ice up!!
