I was thinking that an R8 might be something we would move to from our 2018 R5. This styling just isn't resonating with me though. The helm seat doesn't look like it goes with the new sharp angles. The 2 tone seats also seem loud for what has been a very traditional and classy looking boat. Sort of like going from a Mercedes to a Corvette. Both awesome in their own right, but definitely a change in direction.

Need a hull shot. In theory i like wider platform. Curious how it looks.

I saw a pic of a red/white one on Facebook and I liked that. Agree I’ll hold my opinion until I see one in person.

Sweet I love you man!!!

Ok that interior color is butt ugly. That dash is terrible. Maybe they should add us on the forum for some R&D so they don't screw it up anymore. Those storage compartments in the floor look easy to open and to get at the latches. Why do they do that. Seadek goes around them for a reason. Surprised they didn't make it just one piece from the bow to the cockpit like they did on the 222 cooler carpet. Back to the drawing board Cobalt. Sure doesn't look like that picture we have hidden in the secret vault. I think it's been long enough that cat can come out anytime now.

Nice engine selection. I’m curious. Did you consider the lighter 6.2 VP 430 horse engine? Did you order it that way with the Merc? Or was it what the dealer had on the lot?

Not sure why. I think it gives it a A Series look. I like it. The tiny docking lights need to go. That Malibu trailer needs to go 😂😂
What's this handle for. It's in a odd spot.

To rub against the back of your legs when you're sitting there? Kidding aside I suspect its a grab handle to help stay in place when the water gets rough?

Yes and also to hold on to when getting a cold beer out of the cooler... I assume that is still the cooler.
