242 Chart plotter mount
I’d like to see any pics of folks that have mounted a plotter in the hole on the right side of the dash.

Re: 242 Chart plotter mount
I've mounted both the SIMRAD GO5 and the SIMRAD GO7 in the cubby.
Don't have a pic of the GO7 yet, but here's the GO5.

Thanks! Do you find it difficult to use effectively? Was it hard to mount and get hooked up?

Re: 242 Chart plotter mount
Wes, I see from a previous post that you boat on Table Rock, we do too! I sent you a PM looking for more info about your Garmin install on your 242 but not sure if I did it correctly. We take possession of a 242 next week and I've purchased the Garmin 742 Plus to install. Any advice or pics of the process would be appreciated. Also comments on the accuracy of the satellite weather would be great too.
Thanks Randy
Thanks Randy

Hey Rty. Welcome to the Cobaltchat forum. So glad you found us!
Sounds like a 242 found a great home. What’s powering her?
Any pics?
Again welcome aboard mate!

Re: 242 Chart plotter mount
Thanks! 300 hp Volvo. We take delivery next week so I’ll add some pics after we get settled in. All we have right now is our smiling purchase pics! This looks like a great site. I got a lot of great ideas from the Bryant site (similar to this one) after we bought our Bryant 214 years ago.

Awesome RTy. And yes...much wisdom & knowledge here as a Cobalt collective. Family friendly and fun.
That’s a great purchase pic!
