200S Speakers on Swim Deck???
200S Speakers on Swim Deck???
Anyone know if there would be room to mount speakers on the vertical wall of the swim deck (to the left and right of the tow hook)? Wondering about depth of the area behind and height of the wall to know what size speakers I could put in there. Thanks
Re: 200S Speakers on Swim Deck???
yes there is room to mount. See pic below I took of another 200s. Sony speakers are what the factory was installing there. You can go out a little from the boat with some rings made to push the speaker out towards the stern vs in towards the engine. Any show would be able to create the spacers because depth is an issue. I almost did it last year but did tower speakers instead and would recommend that route. What size are those speakers? I was going to try to get 7.7 JL's in there. They need a 6 3/16" hole I believe. So you Would be able to see those speakers inside your engine compartment, right? Do you have a stock wakeboard tower? My boat doesnt have one. I wish it did, but it is hard to justify the cost to add. Thanks!ajcampen wrote: Thu Jul 02, 2020 11:27 amyes there is room to mount. This is what the factory put on the 220&200. I don’t know if a 7.7 would fit. I don’t have them as I went the tower route. The pic from my last post was not my boatWillson3 wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2020 7:47 amWhat size are those speakers? I was going to try to get 7.7 JL's in there. They need a 6 3/16" hole I believe.
