Trim Gauge Calibration
Hey guys, I recently had my top bellow (drive) replaced and when I got my boat back on the water, I noticed that my trim gauge will only display ~3/4 trim down, although I know the trim is fully 100% down. I have a 1994 220 Volvo Penta DPC-1 outdrive. Any ideas on how to calibrate my guage? Would appreciate y’all’s help on this one. Thanks!

Boy not sure if it's like a merc on those old ones. My Volvo isn't adjustable. Look at the sensors on the side of the drive. If they are slotted then your golden if not then no adjustments

Re: Trim Gauge Calibration
Did you figure this out?
On a ‘94 Volvo Penta (stock) there are a couple of possibilities. Whomever replaced your upper bellows probably didn’t take the time to mark the exposed rack of gears on the rear helmet before removing it to get to the bellows. Good news is it’s analog. If you follow the wiring harness near the throttle/direction shifter, you’ll find a little plastic box about 2”x2”that has a stem sticking out of one side. Turning that stem will calibrate the needle on your trim gauge
