The Bimini boot w a tower

Post by andymoler58 »

Hi I’m having trouble figuring out how to go from the Bimini top being down to the boot position.

I’m having trouble figuring out where the short bars are supposed to go. They don’t seem to reach the clips on the tower where I think they should go

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Which model do you have? I have a CS22. There are times when it seems like the short rods on the front section won't pivot enough to go into the hole on the tower but keep trying different angle combinations and they will miraculously line up. Another issue is that the cover can sometimes slide over to one side too much and not allow the frame to flex enough. If you make sure your canvas is evenly distibuted left and right and do the same step on each side as you go (ex. Loosen long pole on starboard then loosen long pole on right, then loosen short poles etc.) You will get there.

After re-reading your post I may have completely misunderstood your issue. If your concern is lowering, the long rods would go from the middle holes to the bottom and the short rods would go from the upper most holes to the middle.
