MB Quart Upgrade

Hello. This is my first post. I've been lurking for a bit, and I appreciate all of the information.

I just got a 2011 A25. I am going to replace the sound system. I have the upgraded sound. It came with 6 speakers including the transom, and a 10" sub. I'm not sure what to replace it with. It has the MB Quart media center in the glove compartment, which is about 1.5 din in size, that goes into a single din opening. It has 2 wired remotes, one at the stern, and one at the helm. I would like to replace all of that with probably Rockford Fosgate. The question that I have is the wiring. How do you fish the wire to each remote? Will the MB Quart remote wiring work? Might be a universal din cable. I really doubt it, but I have to ask. I have used existing wire to pull new wire in the past, but I don't know if that will work. Anyone done this before. You need a small fish tape, easy peasy.

Yes fish tape works great. Or you can use the existing wiring and tape another wire (or 2 or 3) to it and pull that thru. It's really not too difficult.

MB Quartz was a dominant german audio company known for quality products prior to 2000. I had a system installed in a 300ZX in the late 90’s however it always seemed a little too bright for my taste. Rockford Fosgate purchased them around 2000 and eventually sold them to another company. MBQ was never quite the same after that and ended up being made in China in the later 2000's.

We personally use JL Audio M6 6.5" & 7.7" RGB speakers for inside boat audio coupled to a 10" RF subwoofer.
Wet Sounds horn speakers are phenomenal for projecting outside the boat. We have REV 10's on our tower.
Finally, RF head units and remotes are the only ones with independent subwoofer volume controls which we use constantly to adjust bass as songs play with various amounts of thump.
