232 Carbon Fiber Dash Project

Post by rbranst »

Just sharing the pics of my progress updating the dash in my 232.
Steering wheel is an Isotta Tivoli, dash carbon fiber panels are cut .5mm CF laminate from Protech Composites.
Couldn’t wait to share! Are there any other first gen 232
owners on here? Please reach out I would love to hear from you.
I am going to soon do the top gauges and throttle panel too, which will look like a complete wraparound. I’m doing the whole panel on the throttle control, not just the existing laminate section. My boat has the 7.4GL. Happy Boating!

Looks great! I did mine in a similar style vinyl wrap. Love the look.

This morning I got the gunwale panels installed, I didn’t cover the whole panel and tried to match the theme of the old panels. Would have been too boring if I had covered the whole thing. Also removed wood grain behind copilot grab bar
.

Hi rbranst,
If you find the old Cobalt wheel with center logo you can swap it easily to the new Isotta wheel. As I did mine :)
